Reorganizing the search results

Reorganizing the search results

After completing a search the results can be organized based on the content held in the columns. The titles in headings at the top of the columns will relate to the content held in the columns.

Organizing the returned records

To organize the returned results, look for the column headings at the top of the table, and locate the heading that you would like to organize by. Then click on the heading text to sort the table, if the column hasn't been organized yet it will initially be sorted in ascending order. To sort in descending order, click on the table heading again. Note if there are a lot of columns it may be necessary to use the horizontal scroll bar which is located at the bottom of the page to view headings which are located off-screen. It is also possible to hide columns using the "Columns" drop-down menu, for more information on this please read our Hiding and revealing columns from the search results article.
